Introducing our new Bass Hurdy Gurdy. We aim to debut this new instrument at the ‘After Dark’ event in Dartington Estate, tomorrow night. It’s capable of reaching sub bass frequencies acoustically, with potentially infinite sustain, we love it!
*special thanks* to Chris Furness & George Berrills for your kind help and input with the build.

The players Lee Scott Newcombe and Timothy Didymus really enjoyed this show… Lost Property smoothly organised the event, Cafe Noor nourished everyone involved and the audience were charming and supportive. Perfect…
2: The Glass Delusion
3: -C C C+
For our show tomorrow night we have specially programmed an ambitious set of three new compositions for 56 musical glasses, to be played by hand, spun by automata and bowed on a brand new instrument to be unveiled at Cafe Noor .
MAY 18th // 8-11pm
32 Egremont Place, Brighton, BN2 0GA
The symbolism of making music from glass, under the bar in the basement of Brighton’s ex-pub, now arts centre The Rosehill was gladly not lost on the audience. Lee Scott Newcombe and myself played an entirely acoustic set from 36 glasses, 12 autonomous spun glasses which comprised an installation during the day, then accompanied by a further 24 ‘musical glasses’ played by hand. The audience warmly embraced the two show’s and we would also like to extend our gratitude to Beatabet for letting us open up the inaugural show at their new HQ.
We are proud of everyone involved.
*Our next show will be at Lost Property’s – Infrasection III event at Cafe Noor, Brighton, 18th May 2016*
