Sometimes you try and fail, that’s life, what is left behind gracefully recedes into the distance.
In the autumn of 2015 Jules Arthur, Kassia Zermon and myself arranged a collaboration with Fishbar, a photographic gallery in Daulston, on the site of an old a fish ‘n’ chip shop. Towards the end of the session there was time to quickly document the shoot as Jules and Philipp Ebeling shone images of old photographic slides of the moon, through hand-held projectors, onto spinning musical glasses. Olivia Arthur found the photographic plates at a market in France and suggested we put the two together.
While the images we made that day didn’t quite work out for the project, we thought it would be nice to share some of the ideas and images we made that day.
Thank you: Fishbar, Olivia Arthur, Philipp Ebeling
